SUCCESS TRIANGLE

This triangle for success is what we will use to guide our players throughout the season.  The goal is to show you a process that can be used throughout your life to set a goal and work to accomplish that goal.

Notice that FUN is at the top of the triangle because research consistently shows that this is why kids play sports.  FUN actually motivates people of all ages.  However, WORK and SUCCESS go right along with FUN.  Nobody enjoys failing and we will not discourage anyone for wanting to SUCCEED.  We will encourage and teach our players to strive for SUCCESS because: 1. SUCCEEDING is fun.    2. SUCCEEDING is a valuable life lesson in a society that is set up to compete and rewards SUCCESS every day.    3. SUCCESS builds confidence. 

Further, SUCCESS is accomplished through focused hard WORK.  If you want to SUCCEED, you have to put in the WORK.  The world is not going to hand anything to you.  If you want something, work for it. Go get it!

The philosophy is simply summarized as having FUN will motivate you to WORK hard.  Focused hard WORK will lead to SUCCESS; SUCCESS if FUN as so goes the cycle.
